News April 2014
Hi folks.
I have always wanted to learn a second language although some say I should learn some English first. Acquiring computer languages comes easy but conjugating a verb seems impossible, for me anyway.
In order to sate the need a few years ago I started going to Spanish classes and I found it fascinating, rewarding, difficult and very hard work.
I chose Spanish mainly because it is the closest place to get some guaranteed sun but also worldwide it is a very common language. The USA regards it as their second language and most of South America Hablan Español (that is a conjugation by the way, probably wrong but I try) so at least it is useful if I have to go on the run over the yoghurt fraud.
So, several years later I am still trying to learn (and the yoghurt fraud remains undiscovered) and fluency seems a long way off but I am getting better, very slowly. I need something to speed up the process and hopefully do something useful in the process.
In an inspirational moment it came to the "TCRM web site" could be translated into Spanish! I can hear the whoop whoop around the country, what a great idea.
TCRM web sites were built with multiple languages in mind but in reality we have had very few enquiries for any other languages than Welsh. We really never bothered implementing a Spanish version but it is now happening. Yours truly is converting the site to Spanish and I hope to complete within the next few days, months years. So if you fancy viewing a work in progress please visit:
