News September 2013
It seems a short time since our last little missive was penned, but a lot has happened.
Andrea is now an honest women, Vanessa admitted she is over 25 and Kevin thinks he does really know everything about anything important (I suspect, what Kevin thinks is important is a very narrow field).
So, news this month. The TCRM website is nearly fully responsive - including most of the shop systems - needs a bit more tidying up but we think it will help a lot of "surfers" using mobile devices. We have been awarded the contract to build a new web site for one of the premier accountancy firms in Bridgend and of course this weekend is the Porthcawl Elvis Festival.
It’s a long story, involving the then Manager of the Grand Pavilion, former Bridgend Council leader Jeff Jones and TCRM as to how the festival came about but essentially, Peter Phillips had an idea!
Ten years later, this year will be the tenth anniversary of an event that has grown from small beginnings to become the largest festival of its kind in the World. The Welsh Assembly Government recently commissioned a report that calculated that 31,000 people attended last year’s event with an estimated £6.7m being spent in the local economy.
Of course part of this success is due to a TCRM website (we think a lot of it was down to a TCRM website but we would!), we hope Peter will agree TCRM were an essential part of the team that has made it the success it is today. Peter also runs the Welsh Rockabilly Festival, The Father Ted Festival and the Benidorm Elvis Festival, all with TCRM websites.
