Vision
To reduce by 2028 the number of deaths from digestive cancers in Europe by at least 50% through the adoption of current best practices thereby significantly improving the quality of life of both patients and their carers.
Mission
To contribute to early diagnosis and decreased mortality from digestive cancers and to an increase of overall survival and quality of life.
Goals
- To make a coherent and sustained effort with all stakeholders, nationally and internationally, to prevent, diagnose and treat digestive cancers in Europe
- To empower digestive cancer patients and their informal carers to have a voice
- To align all stakeholders to bridge the gap from the current to achieve the best possible status, and encourage new policies and innovation beyond best practices
- To take the lead in driving progress in digestive cancers
Positioning Statement
DiCE is the voice of digestive cancer patients in Europe. Its aim is to save lives by bringing together all key stakeholders in the fight against these cancers. We are campaigning for the adoption of best practices in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow up.
